Oconee County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. The sheriff, police agency, corrections department, or court that holds the record must answer those questions.
Where to Ask for a Record
Use the custodian that created or maintains the record. OCSO holds the county jail booking route. Watkinsville Police holds its own city incident records. The town clerk handles North High Shoals town material, while Bogart City Hall is the starting point for town-held administrative records. A court clerk holds the filed case and disposition.

- For a current inmate or jail question, use the OCSO Current Inmates page and call Jail Operations when the portal does not answer the question.
- For a Watkinsville police report, contact the Watkinsville Police Department and use the city's open-records form.
- For town-created records in North High Shoals, contact the town clerk at 706-769-4289 or townclerk@northhighshoals.org. The physical office is 260 Hillsboro Road, Bishop, GA 30621; mail goes to PO Box 129, High Shoals, GA 30645. Posted hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- For a filed case or disposition, contact the appropriate Georgia court clerk. The Georgia Courts e-access gateway links participating court systems but is not a complete free statewide search.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search or its open-records route for an existing image.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator. They are separate from the Oconee County jail roster.
